About these terms
- These terms apply when you buy from nextera.ie as a consumer, for yourself rather than for a business. Buying for a business? Email b2b@nextera.ie.
- The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it. The order confirmation we email you repeats the main points.
- They are in English, and so is our contract with you.
- Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Irish consumer law.
Our designs and prices
- We print each piece after you order it. Its product page gives the material, sizes and details; the photos show the design.
- Fine layer lines are part of how 3D-printed pieces are made, and a colour can look slightly different between batches of filament and on your screen.
- Prices are in euro. Shipping is €4.95 per order, and your cart shows it before you pay. There are no other charges.
- If we ever show a price that is obviously wrong, we tell you before we print, and you choose between paying the right price and cancelling for a full refund.
Ordering and paying
- Add designs to your cart and choose Go to checkout. Your cart shows the total, shipping included, before you pay.
- You pay through Stripe, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
- Our contract starts when your payment goes through: you see the confirmation page, and we email you the order confirmation with your order number. Keep that email.
If we can't make something you ordered, we tell you straight away and refund you in full within 14 days.
Delivery
We dispatch your order within two working days of your payment and deliver it anywhere in Ireland, tracked, for €4.95; delivery takes one to two working days more. We deliver to addresses in Ireland only. A piece becomes yours, and your responsibility, once it is delivered to you. Shipping and returns has the details, and what to do if a parcel is late or damaged.
Your right to cancel
- You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day it was delivered: this is your legal right to cancel under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. For anything you buy in the shop we extend it to 30 days, on the same terms.
- To cancel, tell us by email at support@nextera.ie, with any clear message or the cancellation form. Then send the items back within 14 days. When you change your mind, the return postage is yours.
- We refund the price, and the shipping if you return the whole order, within 14 days of your message, to the card or wallet you paid with. We may wait until the items are back with us or you show us proof of postage.
- Handle the items only as you would in a shop. If one has lost value because it was used beyond that, we may take the loss off your refund.
- The right to cancel doesn't apply to custom pieces, below.
Custom orders
- A custom piece starts with a quote request or an email to sales@nextera.ie. We reply with a render and a fixed price.
- Our contract for a custom piece starts when you accept the quote and pay as it says.
- A custom piece is made to your specification, so the right to cancel doesn't apply to it once you have accepted the quote. Ask us anything before you accept.
- If a custom piece is faulty or not what we agreed, your rights in If something is wrong apply in full.
- Send us only sketches, photos and files you may use. We use them only to quote for and make your piece.
If something is wrong
Everything we sell must match its description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for its purpose. If something isn't:
- within 30 days of delivery you can reject it and get a full refund;
- after that we repair or replace it, and if that isn't possible or doesn't put it right, we refund you or reduce the price;
- sending it back is on us.
These rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and last up to six years from delivery. Email support@nextera.ie with your order number and a photo.
Our responsibility to you
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss nobody could foresee.
- We don't limit our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
- Our pieces are made for homes, offices and workshops. Use them as their product page describes.
Questions and complaints
If something isn't right, email support@nextera.ie with your order number. We reply within 24 hours and do our best to put it right quickly.
If we can't agree, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (ccpc.ie) explains your rights, and the Small Claims procedure of the District Court (courts.ie) deals with smaller claims without a solicitor.
The law that applies
These terms and any contract under them are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts can hear any dispute about them. This doesn't take away any protection that consumer law gives you.
